This Privacy Policy explains how K-Destiny collects, uses and protects information when you use kdestiny.net, request a free Saju preview, save a reading, purchase a personalized report or contact us.
Birth and profile information. We collect the name or label you provide, date of birth, birth time or unknown-time selection, birthplace, calendar selection and optional traditional cycle setting so we can calculate and interpret your Saju chart.
Contact and preference information. We collect your email address, first name or display name, and whether you separately opt in to marketing messages.
Transaction information. We keep records such as payment status, amount, currency, product, purchase identifiers and report-delivery status. Stripe processes payment-card information; K-Destiny does not store your full card number.
Technical and usage information. Our servers and first-party conversion tracking may record basic request information and funnel events such as a page visit, free-preview completion, email save, checkout start, successful purchase and report completion. We may also record a campaign source such as a UTM source or referring site. We currently use this first-party data to understand whether the service works and which marketing channels lead to completed readings.
Support information. If you contact us, we may receive the information you include in your message and any order details needed to investigate a delivery or billing issue.
K-Destiny uses service providers to operate the product. These currently include Render for hosting, Supabase for database and report storage, Stripe for payment processing, Resend for transactional email, Google Maps Platform services for location/geocoding and time-zone context, and OpenAI for the language interpretation layer of paid reports. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices and as needed to provide services to K-Destiny.
K-Destiny does not sell personal information. We do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that practice changes, this Policy and any required opt-out controls will be updated before the change takes effect.
Marketing consent is optional and is not required to receive a requested reading or purchased report. You may opt out of future marketing messages using the unsubscribe method provided in those messages. Transactional or service emails may still be sent when necessary to deliver a product you requested.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to deliver reports, maintain secure access, support purchases, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and meet legal or accounting obligations. Retention periods can vary by data type. When information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete or de-identify it. Some transaction records may need to be kept longer where required by law or payment/accounting obligations.
You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion of personal information associated with you. We may need to verify the request and may retain information where an exception or legal obligation applies. Depending on where you live, additional rights may apply.
California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA where the law applies, including rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights. K-Destiny does not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Requests can be sent to readings@kdestiny.net.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service, including HTTPS, server-side secret handling, rate limits, Stripe-hosted checkout, and signed expiring report links. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
Some service providers may process information in the United States or other countries. By using the service, your information may be processed outside your place of residence subject to applicable legal protections.
K-Destiny is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Do not knowingly submit a child's personal information. If you believe a child has provided information to K-Destiny, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
We may update this Policy as the service or applicable requirements change. The “last updated” date above identifies the current version.
